A lifetime of Art

"I LOVE my second career! After spending many years as both an art and early childhood educator, and as a professional artist, I am now getting to utilize the myriad of skills and experiences acquired during that time in the field of cosmetology. I am already a seasoned teacher and artist, so I feel like helping people look and feel their absolute best is a natural fit. I feel so blessed to get to communicate with my clients on a personal level, establishing together what works best for each of them, and then creating an art piece with their hair! Since I’m all about education, not only am I continually keeping myself current, but I am also devoted to providing my clients with instruction and support for maintaining and being creative with their own hair. Just as it thrills my soul to experience the pure joy of a student who has just discovered or mastered a new concept, the same is true when I see a huge smile of appreciation, or hear the gratitude in a client’s voice upon looking in the mirror at the final “art piece” that is them.
